Filming offshore in the Gulf of Mexico is not always plain sailing but our Houston team are used to the unpredictability of the weather and last minute changes of plan. Offshore on ATP’s Mirage Development, our crew captured the installation, hook-up and first Oil, and technicalities of the innovative MinDOC 3 Hull.

Myriad’s regional film crewing network has been ‘in action’ in the US, Singapore and Ghana, as the Jubilee FPSO nears mechanical completion prior to starting it’s journey to offshore Ghana. We have captured some excellent time-lapse material of key lifts including the installation of the world’s largest turret.

As part of the ongoing filming and documentary production for the Harweel Project in Oman, Myriad is creating a safety induction programme supporting PDO in communicating key safety messages to all personnel that will be working on, or visiting the new plant.

Japanese student Naosuke Sugihara from Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo is enjoying an internship at Myriad whilst studying Finance and EU Policy Making, at the University of Westminster.
Working at Myriad has enabled me to develop my understanding of the media business, whilst at the same time, shown me the importance that local knowledge and capability plays in running a sustainable global business, says Naosake. This approach fits with the Japanese ethos of operational efficiency, other examples of which I have been able to share with Myriad.

James Thompson, Managing Director of Myriad Global Media enjoyed the opportunity to meet up with clients and associates at Gastech in Abu Dhabi recently.
To my mind, it is vital to keep up with innovations within the industry that is our core business, says James. Additionally, I was pleased to see the successful launch of a touch-screen interactive that we produced for RasGas, as well as programmes produced for Petroleum Development Oman.
