Myriad Global Media recently hosted their third annual safety workshop in Abu Dhabi, focusing on ‘Safety through the supply chain’.
In our third year, we continued with our commitment to bring together professionals from various industries to discuss key issues, share knowledge and continue raising the bar.
Presenters included representatives from the Energy Institute, Abu Dhabi Occupational Health and Safety (OSHAD), Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism, and Expo 2020.
The mix of presentations and panels demonstrated the importance of improving the management of safety in the supply chain. More profoundly though, the day stimulated open and meaningful discussion amongst safety and procurement professionals and started some important conversations that will be taken back to their organisations.

This seemingly simple solution was highlighted in so many of the presentations and panel discussions throughout the day. When people within a supply chain act cooperatively, they can have a far greater influence on safety outcomes than when acting alone.
