Broadband Britain Challenge
Myriad Global Media’s solution to accelerate broadband take-up from British Telecom (BT) was The Broadband Britain Challenge. We developed the idea and engaged BT and the Government as major sponsors. Myriad Global Media instigated a nationwide search for innovative broadband applications and content, with the aim of demonstrating best practice. We ran 12 regional events around the UK with a national final in London where major business leaders, government ministers and award winners attended. The Broadband Britain Challenge picked up a silver award at the IVCA for best event of 2003.
