Broadband in Action
Broadband In Action marked the launch of BT’s Broadband Britain Challenge Campaign and Awards which sought to increase broadband use in the UK. In 2003 over 99% of the UK population had potential broadband connectivity but only 6% of the UK population were connected. The Broadband Britain Challenge instigated a nationwide search for innovative broadband applications and content, with the aim of demonstrating best practice.
