The Vision
The Gorgon Stage Two (GS2) development project is a proposed expansion of the Gorgon liquified natural gas (LNG) project, located approximately 130km off the north-west coast of Western Australia, at a water depth of around 200m to 1,300m. After Myriad’s award-winning work on the Agbami, Chuandongbei and Alder projects, Chevron approached Myriad to create a high-quality animation of the Phase 2 development.
Outcome
A high-quality, photo-realistic 3D animation of the existing Gorgon site, detail on the phase 2 trains and development and the ‘world-first’ Jansz IO offshore development that will involve the most extensive subsea production system developed to date.
Legacy
This work is a continuation of a relationship between Myriad and Chevron stretching back as far as 1990 with our award-winning video and animation work for the Alba Northern Platform development in the North Sea.
