Background
Mexico Pacific LNG is building North America’s largest LNG facilities strategically located on the west coast of Mexico, at Puerto Libertad, Sonora. It is the biggest foreign private investment ever made in Mexico and will make Mexico the world’s fourth largest exporter of LNG. Close proximity to Asia reduces shipping transit times by approximately 11 days and shipping costs by ~60% whilst avoiding the Panama Canal congestion.
The outcome
It was important to not only represent the scale of the development, but also to show the beneficial impact on the local community in employment and economic development. This film involved not only Myriad’s high quality 3D animation treatment but also interviews, drone filming and footage of local communities to portray the sustainable nature of the development.
