The brief.
The vessel was next-generation. Most buyers had never seen one.
Excelerate Energy’s new Floating Storage and Regasification Unit was under construction and coming soon, and the sales team needed something to put in front of prospective clients, governments among them, that explained what an FSRU actually is, showed what this one would look like, and did the vessel justice. The benchmark they set was telling: not other ship brochures, but the ones Mercedes makes.
The opportunity.
Sell the vessel the way great marques sell cars: desire first, data second.
In a digital-first world, a beautifully printed object has become the premium move; it says the product is worth holding. An FSRU brochure usually reads like a spec sheet with a cover. We treated the vessel as a product worth coveting: photo-realistic 3D renders that show it the way automotive photography shows a car, copy that leads with what the technology means for a charterer, and specifications placed where they support the story rather than replace it.

An eight-to-ten page brochure in print and digital editions, built on high-end design and photo-real renders of the vessel, with concise copy carrying the technological advances. Every choice, from layout to paper, aimed at the same standard the client had named. Six weeks from brief to finished print, in time for the event it was made for.
