The brief.
When a company explores your area for a carbon storage site, you have questions.
Fair ones: what is this, is it dangerous, what happens underneath us? As ExxonMobil explored sites for new CCS projects, community events needed an honest, clear account of the technology, one that could address the myths that circulate around it and give residents something solid to base their view on.

The opportunity.
Reassurance you can follow, not reassurance you’re asked to accept.
The animation follows a single molecule end to end: captured before it reaches the atmosphere, transported, and locked permanently into the geology. Showing every step of the journey is what quashes myths; nothing is hand-waved, nothing happens off screen. A community audience doesn’t need to be told it’s safe. It needs to see how, and judge.

The work.
The whole journey in 3D, at town-hall pace.
A 3D animation visualizing machinery, geology and the molecule’s path at every scale the story needs, built for community events: clear enough for a first encounter with the technology, specific enough to answer the sceptic in the third row.

The impact.
The conversation, started on facts.
Shown at public events as ExxonMobil explores sites for new projects, the animation gives teams a consistent, honest way to open community conversations about carbon storage: the same clear account of the technology in every room, with the common myths met by simply showing the process whole.
