The brief.

The Exxpert Service is people. Its marketing wasn’t.

ExxonMobil’s highest tier of polymer support puts senior engineers at customers’ side from concept to commercialization, and it was already a genuine differentiator. But a service made of people disappears in spec-sheet B2B communications. ExxonMobil asked us to bring it to life: make customers feel who they’d be calling, not just what they’d be buying.

The opportunity.

Don’t explain the service. Introduce the person.

We built each film around a real Exxpert and played their working life as lightly comic, fourth-wall-aware storytelling: taking customer calls in a chai cafe, dodging the mailman, going the extra mile in every literal way we could stage. Heightened, but truthful about what the service means: someone this committed, always a call away. Ninety seconds, narrator-driven, made to feel like something you’d actually share rather than something you’d be sent.

The work.

A format built to travel.

The first film introduced Amit, shot over three days, with motion-graphic callouts carrying the technical messaging so the story never slows down for it. Then the format did what formats should: it scaled. New Exxperts filmed in China and North America, each film local in personality and identical in structure, turning one commercial into a series with room to grow as the service does.

The impact.

From one film to a global campaign.

Meet the Exxperts is now fully rolled out, running in ExxonMobil marketing campaigns worldwide, including web advertising. In a category where competitors sell resins on data sheets, ExxonMobil is selling its people, and the campaign gives a highly technical service the one thing B2B communication usually lacks: a face you remember.
