The brief.

A new player in geothermal, with everything still to prove.

Sage Geosystems came to us to help position them in the market: a company going out for investment and contracts that needed a reputation before it had a track record. The technology works underground, exactly where nobody can see it, and the people behind it were, like many brilliant teams, hiding behind their work.

The opportunity.

Answer both questions investors actually ask: does it work, and who are these people?

Two approaches, deliberately paired. A technical 3D animation goes where the camera can’t: down the well, into the reservoir, through the cycle of storing and releasing energy. And a company film brings the team out from behind the work, because when you put incredibly intelligent, passionate people at the forefront alongside their technology, the passion itself becomes part of the investment case.

The work.

Two films, one case.

The technology animation makes the subsurface system visible and understandable, precise enough to satisfy an engineer, clear enough for a first meeting. The company film tells the Sage Geosystems story through its people: who they are, why they’re doing this, and the conviction that doesn’t come across in a pitch deck. Together they give the company a complete introduction, from the reservoir to the founders.

The impact.

A reputation, established before the track record.

The films gave Sage Geosystems a credible, confident way to introduce themselves to the investors and partners they were courting, and the company has gone from strength to strength since. We won’t claim the films did that; we will say they made sure the first impression matched the quality of the team.
